Projects to Build at the Canadian Home Workshop Show

Time for a preview of the projects you’ll be able to build at the Canadian Home Workshop Show.

For those less than 18 years old, you can gain some scroll-saw skills as you make this wooden car. Other tools that our experts will show you how to use are a drillpress and spindle sander.

In the Project Workshop area, you can make a hanging candle sconce with self (prototype below). After selecting your wood, you’ll cut it on a mitre saw, predrill some holes in it at the drillpress, shape it on a scroll saw, sand it with a orbital sander and then assemble.
