Check out our reno
Now that the virtual paint has dried and the e-dust has been collected, we’d like to show off our latest reno: the new Canadian Home Workshop website. As with most renos, it’s been months in the making and we hope you enjoy the final product as much as we do.
We have many talented readers and we love seeing the projects they send in. The only problem is that we don’t always have the room to showcase everything properly. The new You Made It section will address that little challenge by allowing you to upload photos of your latest woodworking or home-renovation projects.
Another item we’ve expanded is our ever-popular Ask A Pro section. Our expert, Ryan Shervill, is at the helm of that feature to dispense his vast DIY wisdom with his characteristic charm.
Often the success of a reno depends on the foundation on which you are building. The old site had good bones, if you will, with the projects and plans. These are all here, and more are on the way, for you to build.
To mark the occasion of our site relaunch, we have a little contest going on. Enter for your chance to win a sweet DeWalt kit featuring a 20-volt impact driver and hammer drill. Those tools are actually lighter than their 18-volt predecessors.
Making the new site was a big job. Our thanks go out to our dedicated web team: online director Sue Haas, online manager Charlotte Fortier, content manager (who is always deep in the online trenches) Megan Siegel, and migration assistant Antonella Lombardi.
Now that we’re done building, it’s over to you.
