Attach all four wires that run from the solenoid. Start with the wire that runs from the solenoid and clips to the shank. Next, take the wire that you pulled out from the shank in Step 3 and plug it into the solenoid. Connect the wire that runs from the valve assembly and connect it to the solenoid. Finally, connect the battery pack and insert the six AA batteries.
